These little purple squares are actually windows into the underground tunnels below the sidewalks in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood.
I initially thought they were some kind of shell by the way they were layered and the tone of the purples, but finally got down close and figured out they're glass. This isn't my picture, but it's a view of the lights from below in the tunnels:
That's about all I can muster on this lazy Sunday morning. haaaaaaaaa
